Registered Behavior Technician - New Haven, CT

Position Summary

Our part-time registered Behavior Technician role is responsible for implementing behavior-analytic services for assigned clients as a member of the Autism Services team.

Education & Licensing Requirements

Minimum of 18 years of age and demonstrated completion of an Associates degree or equivalent/higher.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Monitors the child's progress on implementation of the goals of the treatment plan developed by the licensed applied behavior analyst * Provides coaching, support, and guidance to the parent/guardian/caregiver in implementing the plan * Collects data and conducting certain types of assessments * Works closely with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst to ensure the treatment plans are implemented * Maintaining competency in the field via continued education * Some nights and weekend work is required.

Experience & Skills

* Successful completion of the 40 hour RBT training and competency assessment preferred. * Successfully passed the RBT Examination preferred.
