Bilingual Behavior Technician - New Haven, CT

Position Summary

Role of the Behavior Technician - New Haven Our part-time Behavior Technician position is responsible for implementing behavior-analytic services for assigned clients as a member of the Autism Services team.

Education & Licensing Requirements

* A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral health field, behavior analysis, or a related field, plus one, year of full-time equivalent experience, working with children with a diagnosis of ASD, Or * An associate degree or an equivalent number of credit hours with a passing grade from an accredited college or university in a behavioral health field, behavior analysis, or a related field, plus two years of full-time equivalent experience working with children with ASD; and 18 hours of continuing education in ASD services within the last three years.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Monitors the child's progress on implementation of the goals of the treatment plan developed by the licensed applied behavior analyst * Provides coaching, support, and guidance to the parent/guardian/caregiver in implementing the plan * Collects data and conducting certain types of assessments * Works closely with the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to ensure the treatment plans are implemented * Maintaining competency in the field via continued education * Some nights and weekend work is required.

* Fluency in English and Spanish
