CBHI Supervisor - Lawrence

Position Summary

The CBHI Supervisor will serve as a support to the Clinical Directors of CBHI Services to specifically assist in carrying out the In-Home Therapy, In-Home Behavioral Services, and Therapeutic Mentoring Performance Specifications, and oversee the CBHI staff. The Supervisor will participate in division-wide meetings and trainings to support ongoing development and quality improvement of the In-Home Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, and In-Home Behavioral Services programs.

Education & Licensing Requirements

* Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling Education, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or other relevant areas of social or human services from an accredited educational institution. * Must be independently licensed (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LDAC 1) or LCSW or within three months of qualifying for licensure.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Provide supervision (individual/group) to CBHI staff. * Available to CBHI staff via telephone for consultation as needed * Ensure all Family Service Providers, In-Home Therapists and Behavior Management Therapists follow the Medical Necessity Criteria, Performance Specifications, and Service Definitions for In-Home Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, and In-Home Behavioral Services as set forth by the state * Assist the Mental Health Division’s supervisory staff in training master’s level outpatient staff in adhering to the responsibilities of being part of a Care Plan Team and a Clinical Hub * Support the referral process and monitor assignment of In-Home Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, and In-Home Behavioral cases; ensure families are contacted according to benchmarks; effectively manage waitlist when one exists * Participate in and support intake and authorization processes for services as needed * Assist in interviewing, hiring, orientation of, and training of Family Service Providers, In-Home Therapists, and Behavior Management Therapists * Assist with developing and providing administrative and clinical training programs for CBHI staff * Ensure that documentation meets the Performance Specifications set forth by the state and is submitted timely * Participate in Quality Assurance record audits and other Quality Management activities * Monitor productivity of CBHI staff * Meet productivity expectations set forth by the Director of CBHI Services * Outreach to community providers to develop and foster solid working relationships and awareness of CBHI services * Participate in monthly Systems of Care meeting and other CBHI-related meetings as assigned * Attend staff meetings and supervision as expected * Assist with mandated reporting for CBHI staff * Other duties as assigned

Experience & Skills

* Minimum of three years experience of working with children and families required * PC literacy and experience with MS Office Applications
