Teaching Assistant- Framingham, MA

Position Summary

The Teaching Assistant is part of our Early Childhood Team. The Teaching Assistant, as part of the team, provides a continuum of community-based services to children from ages Birth to 3 years old, along with their families.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Consult with clinical EI staff in preparation and maintaining of client groups * Assist with the maintenance of client records * Assist EI staff in the development of group curricula for assigned groups. * Co-lead groups with Early Intervention standards according to program needs and design (both child and parent focused.) * Document and maintain forms as required * Coordinate transportation for assigned children and/or parents * Participate in trainings * Pick-up, provide, discharge and monitor children and parents according to transportation standards * Replenish and maintain EI inventory as necessary * Attend meetings as required * Overtime may be required at times * Other duties as required

Experience & Skills

* 2 years or relevant work experience in related field preferred * Experience with infants and toddlers preferred * Valid driver’s license for 3 years * Valid satisfactory CORI check, CPR and First Aid Certification and a negative TB test required. * Must be 21 years of age
