Mental Health Clinician - Brockton, MA

Position Summary

We have multiple roles open for our Mental Health Clinicians in our fast-growing Brockton location: * Dual Diagnosis * Family Team * Trauma Forensic-Dual Diagnosis Team provides community-based mental health and substance abuse treatment, with specializations in anger management, impulse control, trauma-focused therapy, and supportive services for family members and survivors of violence. The Family Team provides services to all individuals, with a focus on children, adolescents, couples, and families. The Trauma Team focuses on working with children, adolescents, adults and families who have experienced various types of trauma such as physical and sexual abuse, adoption, family separation, grief and loss, domestic violence, etc.

Education & Licensing Requirements

Educational and Licensing Requirements for a Mental Health Clinician in Brockton, MA: * Master's level degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or a Master's degree with a concentration in one of the areas of Counseling such as: Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Rehabilitation Counseling required * LCSW/ LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT license preferred, but not required

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities of a Mental Health Clinician in Brockton, MA: * Lead individual, family, couples, and group therapy * Conduct client intake sessions in the Brockton, MA area * Facilitate crisis intervention * Conduct case management * Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for proper treatment * Attend monthly in-service trainings

Experience & Skills

Skills & Experience of a Mental Health Clinician In Brockton, MA: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to demonstrate an understanding of patient needs when devising and implementing treatment * Ability to identify problem behaviors, provide advice and track development effectively * Experience or understanding of underserved populations, a plus PC literacy and experience with MS Office Applications
