Futures Behavior Therapy Center is looking for an ABA Therapist for our West Boylston center! The ABA Therapist will carry out behavior intervention & curriculum programs for clients with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities.
What are the job responsibilities of an ABA Therapist?
Work 1:1 with clients; in-center, community, and/or home.
Apply an individualized treatment plan written and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Take data throughout the session; provide narrative to support clients session
Use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to help clients socially and behaviorally
Communicate with BCBA on data; clarification, strategies, support
Attend scheduled meetings
Assist in the maintenance of client books
Communicate regularly with supervisor, BCBA and Directors
Pass CALM course within 2 months of hire and yearly refresh
Dress and act professional
Maintain professional boundaries with clients/families
Correctly record hours worked
Communicate scheduling request
Utilize Key communication skills to provide effective feedback to clients
Become familiar with and use behavioral redirection techniques
Ability to work hours between 8:30a-5:30p
Home Services weekly
Other duties as required.
- Must have at least a high school diploma
- 2 years relevant work experience in related field preferred; valid satisfactory CORI check and CPR and First Aid certification
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
