Adult Direct Support Provider

Family Behavior Resources is seeking a Bachelor's level clinician to provide direct services to our adult consumers.  

The Adult Direct Support Provider (Systematic Skill Building Specialist) uses evidence-based methods to help participants acquire skills that promote independence and integration into the community.  

  • Develop the Skill Building Plans for assigned participants
  • Provide direct supports once SBP is completed.
  • Provide consultative supports to promote generalization of skills across different environments
  • Performs additional duties as required

Position details:  This is a part-time position (PTV); approximately 10 hours a week.  This position services the Pottstown county, PA area.  Travel compensation is provided and travel is required up to 100% of the time.


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Education or in another field
  • 3 years’ experience working directly supporting individuals with ASD in the community
  • Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license

  • Clearances: (Perspective employee must have the following clearances before their first day)
    • PA State Child Abuse Clearance (Upon hire, prior to working with clients, and every year thereafter)
    • Pennsylvania State Criminal Background Check (Upon hire, prior to working with clients and every year thereafter
    • FBI Clearance - Department of Human Services
AERI staff will be transporting consumers and are responsible for providing his/her proof of insurance face sheet that notes the Liability coverage limits of at least $100,000 bodily injury and at least $300,000 total per accident in their policy.
