Project Manager

JOB PURPOSE:  The Project Manager position acts as the organizational development liaison, adviser to the organization's leadership, and facilitates the organization's initiatives across the organization. The Project Manager assists in planning, developing, implementing and administering clinical programs for company employees. This position is also responsible for development and integration of company programs and associated projects to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives.



  • Achieves operational objectives


By contributing information and recommendations to operational plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change

  • Ensures deliverables are completed timely


By creating and submitting milestone project schedules that include manpower needs as well as equipment/technology needs.  Documents project phases and creates summary reports for company management    

  • Effectively manages assigned teams


By facilitating the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolving or assisting in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develops methods to monitor project or area progress; and documents needs for corrective actions to be presented to management


  •  Maintains a commitment to professional development


By participating in on-going supervision, training, and department and team meetings, as outlined by policies and procedures


  •  Adheres to professional and ethical interaction policies and procedures


By interacting professionally, ethically, and respectfully with consumers, other team members – including family members, and co-workers, at all times; following policy and procedure and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries


  •  Supports on-going and future business needs


By completing other duties, as assigned, to effectively support business priorities and processes




Required Skills

Physical Requirements:  Employee must be able to read, write and speak fluent English Employee must be able to gain access to all AERI facilities with reasonable accommodation if required. While performing specific job requirements, employee may be required to sit, stand, bend, and kneel.  Must be able to lift up to fifty  pounds.  Care should be taken to avoid repetitive motion injuries such as those experienced with extended keyboard use.



Mental Requirements:  Must be able to work under stressful situations brought on by deadlines. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize. Must be able to work in an environment in which contact with persons with behavioral problems exists. Must be able to use awareness of cultural values and biases to work effectively with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.

Required Experience



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a Business Administration or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience managing projects of various degrees in a business setting
