Behavior Therapist

The Behavior Therapist is responsible for providing one-on-one or small group interventions to consumers in the home, school, or community setting when, without treatment, behaviors may require a more restrictive setting.


  • Provides assistance in implementation a behavioral intervention plan
  • Provides assistance to parents or other responsible adults
  • Demonstrates understanding in appropriate implementation of evidence-based assessments
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of research and evidence-based practices
  • Utilizes relevant data to identify effective treatment interventions
  • Provides treatment of the whole person
  • Supervises response to emergency/crisis situations with team members and consumers
  • Participates in required meetings, evaluations, supervision and trainings
  • Completes all required clinical documentation
  • Maintains assigned, planned schedule
  • Maintains a commitment to professional development
  • Adheres to professional and ethical interaction policies and procedures
  • Supports on-going and future business needs


  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, or similar human services field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis preferred.
