Senior Outpatient Therapist

This position will support our New Kensington and North Hills Offices.

JOB PURPOSE: This position is responsible for the provision of individual, family, and group therapy sessions for consumers and assisting in the development of the outpatient clinical team to meet the demand of services. This position will be responsible for providing ongoing clinical support to members of the outpatient team and assisting outpatient staff in at-risk situations.


  • Provision of therapy to consumers in individually recommended setting
  • Develops individualized treatment plans
  • Develops transition and discharge planning
  • Participates in required meetings, evaluations, supervision and trainings
  • Demonstrates proficiency with assessment skills
  • Evaluates individualized consumer-driven treatment plan reviews
  • Provision of treatment of the whole person
  • Provides on-going clinical support to all members of the outpatient team
  • Responds to emergency/crisis situations with team members and consumers
  • Maintains assigned, planned schedule
  • Maintains a commitment to professional development
  • Adheres to professional and ethical interaction policies and procedures
  • Supports on-going and future business needs


  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or similar human services field
  • At least 1 year of experience with either a CASSP service system, or employed by a licensed mental health services agency, or subcontracted agency, or other master’s level mental health clinicians with documents training in the field of behavioral modification techniques
  • Professional licensure required (LPC, or LCSW)
