Behavior Technician - School Based

The BCIS Behavior Technician is responsible for providing specialized behavioral support to individuals who may demonstrate behavioral challenges because of limited social skills, communication skills, mental health symptoms, or developmental delays.  This position provides clinical oversight of all treatment and provides specialized interventions to consumers.

The BT will be working in a school based environment in Indiana School District  in Indiana County, PA.  This is a full-time position.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical oversight of all aspects of treatment
  • Supports active participation of the entire treatment team
  • Provides crisis intervention support
  • Supports the relevant data analysis of the behavioral support plan
  • Participates in required meetings, evaluation, supervision, and training 


  •      Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, or similar human services field

Clearances: (Prospective employee must have the following clearances before their first day)

  • PA State Child Abuse Clearance (Upon hire, prior to working with clients, and every year thereafter)

  • Pennsylvania State Criminal Background Check (Upon hire, prior to working with clients and every year thereafter)

  • FBI Clearance - Department of Human Services
