The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for providing direct and indirect behavioral intervention and consultation to consumers, family, and other stakeholders.  The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for guiding treatment by developing a treatment plan, monitoring progress on goals, intervening directly with a consumer, and developing programs, as appropriate.  This position reports to the Director of Behavior Analysis.

Position details:  This is a part-time position; Monday through Friday; 20 - 25 hours a week.  This position requires recruiting and services in the Columbus, Ohio area.  Travel is required 100% of the time.

Job responsibilities of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst: 

  • Leads and directs individualized treatment
  • Provides treatment of the whole person
  • Consults with all members of the treatment team to ensure plan  participation
  • Monitors individualized consumer-driven data to address consumer needs
  • Supervises response to emergency/crisis situations with team members  and consumers
  • Provides consultation and supervision services to improve center  understanding and application of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Participates in required meetings, evaluations, supervision and training
  • Completes all required clinical documentation
  • Maintains assigned, planned schedule
  • Maintains a commitment to professional development
  • Adheres to professional and ethical interaction policies and procedures
  • Supports on-going and future business needs

Required qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in behavior analysis, special education, or related field
  • Must have active BCBA certification in Ohio
  • Must have active COBA certification in Ohio
