Senior Behavior Consultant

The Senior Behavior Consultant position consist of clinical direction of services to a child, youth or young adult; development and revision of the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP); oversight of the implementation of the ITP and consultation with a child’s, youth’s or young adult’s treatment team regarding the ITP.


Position details:  This position is full-time position - Monday through Friday.  This is a salaried position.  This position will service Franklin and Fulton counties in Pennsylvania.


Job responsibilities of the Senior Behavior Consultant:

  • Leads and directs individualized treatment
  • Provides treatment of the whole person
  • Consults with all members of the treatment team to ensure plan participation
  • Monitors individualized consumer-drive data to address consumer needs
  • Supervises response to emergency/crisis situations with team members and consumers
  • Participates in required meetings, evaluations, supervision and training
  • Completes all required clinical documentation
  • Maintains assigned, planned schedule
  • Maintains a commitment to professional development
  • Adheres to professional and ethical interaction policies and procedures
Requirements:  
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Counseling or Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Licensed as a Behavior Specialist (LBS) OR Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
  • 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults
  • Clearances: (Perspective employee must have the following clearances before their first day)
    • PA State Child Abuse Clearance (Upon hire, prior to working with clients, and every year thereafter)
    • Pennsylvania State Criminal Background Check (Upon hire, prior to working with clients and every year thereafter
    • FBI Clearance - Department of Human Services
