Day Treatment Therapist

Provides outpatient therapy for children and adults and completes new intakes and assessments as assigned.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESULTS:

 ·            Facilitates therapeutic groups and outpatient counseling services to identified population.

·            Maintains productivity of at least (4) billable hours daily

·            Works with Company personnel and leadership in identifying and correcting deficits with person-centered plans or other required agency documentation.

·            Conducts clinical evaluations and assessments in accordance with agency and accreditation standards.

·            Maintains accurate and timely records, including clinical assessments, services notes and billing documentation according to agency policy.

·            Reviews clinical documentation of assigned staff (if applicable).

·            Submits clinical and billing documentation within 48 hours of service delivery.

·            Participates in planning and implementing quality improvement activities.

·            Maintains up-to-date knowledge of field by participating in continuing education activities.

·            Provides positive customer relations in dealing with consumers, families, physicians, fellow department employees, other agency departments, referral resources, service agencies, and others.

·            Adheres to all department/agency policies.

·            Participates in on-call rotation at least one week per quarter.

·            Other duties that may be assigned from time to time

                      

 

EDUCATION 

Masters degree in human services or related field and active licensure as an LCSW/A, LPC/A,  or LP/A in North Carolina.

 

EXPERIENCE

 At least two years of experience in diagnosing and assessing consumers’ mental health status.
