Contract Outpatient Therapist- Part Time

Provides comprehensive clinical assessments and outpatient therapy for children and adults. This is a contract position that requires 16 to 20 hours per week. Candidate must have day hours and weekend availability.


  • Facilitates comprehensive clinical assessments and outpatient counseling therapy to children and adults to identified population and in accordance with the agency and accreditation standards.
  • Able to conducts at least 16 to 20 hrs per week with weekend availability.
  • Maintains accurate and timely records, including clinical assessments, services notes and billing documentation according to agency policy.
  • Reviews clinical documentation of assigned staff (if applicable).
  • Submits clinical and billing documentation within 24 hours of service delivery.
  • Provides positive customer relations in dealing with consumers, families, physicians, fellow department employees, other agency departments, referral sources, oversight agencies, and others.
  • Adheres to all department/agency policies.




Master’s degree in human services or related field and active licensure as an LCSWA, LPC/A or LMFT/A in North Carolina is required.





At least two years of experience in diagnosing and assessing consumers’ mental health status. Candidate must have day time hours and weekend availability to see clients.
