Contract Outpatient Therapist

Provides comprehensive clinical assessments and outpatient therapy for children and adults. This is a contract position that requires 16 to 20 hours per week and must have weekend availability.

Facilitates comprehensive clinical assessments and outpatient counseling therapy to children and adults to identified population and in accordance with the agency and accreditation standards.
Days and either some evenings/weekend availability.
Maintains accurate and timely records, including clinical assessments, services notes and billing documentation according to agency policy.
Reviews clinical documentation of assigned staff (if applicable).
Submits clinical and billing documentation within 24 hours of service delivery.
Provides positive customer relations in dealing with consumers, families, physicians, fellow department employees, other agency departments, referral sources, oversight agencies, and others.
Adheres to all department/agency policies. EDUCATION Master's degree in human services or related field and active licensure as an LCSW, LPC or LPA in North Carolina preferred but an associate's license may be considered (LPC-A, LCSW-A, LMFT-A) EXPERIENCE At least two years of experience in diagnosing and assessing consumers’ mental health status.
