Licensed School Based Therapist (SBT)

·       Facilitates therapeutic groups and outpatient counseling services to identified population.

·       Conducts assessments and carries a caseload of  consumers.

·       Works with Company personnel and leadership in identifying and correcting deficits with person-centered plans or other required agency documentation.

·       Conducts clinical evaluations and assessments in accordance with agency and accreditation standards.

·       Performs collaborative documentation with each client at the end of each client visit, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

·       Maintains accurate and timely records, including clinical assessments, services notes and billing documentation according to agency policy.

·       Reviews clinical documentation of assigned staff (if applicable).

·       Submits clinical and billing documentation within 24 hours of service delivery.

·       Participates in planning and implementing quality improvement activities.

·       Maintains up-to-date knowledge of field by participating in continuing education activities.

·       Provides positive customer relations in dealing with consumers, families, physicians, fellow department employees, other agency departments, referral resources, service agencies, and others.

·       Adheres to all department/agency policies & procedures 

·       Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Licensed School Based Outpatient Therapist-NC (as assigned)

·       Facilitates therapeutic groups and outpatient counseling services to assigned School students and their families according to accepted Memorandum of Agreement with assigned Schools during approximately the 180-day school is in session; also delivers services throughout school breaks to students identified as wanting to receive mental health services during these times. 

·       Uses evidence-based practices with students and their families to reach target of 15 billable hours per week. 

·       Flexibility to provide individual and group family sessions as needed after regular school hours in the school, home, and community settings.

·       Implements protocol assigned by AFS and assigned School in crisis scenarios/assessments as clinically indicated.

·       Adheres to all assigned school policies & procedures



Master’s degree in human services or related field and active licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist in North Carolina preferred; but an associates license (LPC/A, LCSW/A, LMF/A or LP/A) may be considered


 1-year experience working with the population served.
