Office Assistant - Part Time

Associate will assist the administrative staff to include but not limited to:  Medical Receive cover, greeting all incoming individuals into the office and re-direct them as necessary.  Perform routine medical record/chart maintenance (locate, log, retrieve, and file all medical and client records). Provide complete and accurate records while adhering to client confidentiality requirements.  Assist with scheduling intake/referrals, recording accurate/timely information to the medical records data-base. This is a part time role.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESULTS:                                                                       

·         May be required to open office

·         Answer all incoming calls

·         Retrieve  all incoming faxes and distribute them to the appropriate staff

·         Maintain a daily sign in sheet for all incoming staff

·         Be sure the visitor’s log is current and the names are kept confidential

·         To retrieve all/any incoming mail and distribute as needed

·         Be sure to send all outgoing mail daily

·         Ensure office copiers are stocked daily

·         Ensure there is always paper and soap in the restrooms

·         Before leaving for the day, be sure the office is secure

·         Oversee Medical Records

·         Update the Survey Data base accurately and timely

           

II.            JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

EDUCATION 

 

  • High School Diploma/GED (Acceptable)
  • Some College Preferred

EXPERIENCE

Must have at least one or more years of working in an office setting and one year of direct customer services experience. Part Time hours only.
